Zurich is one of the few cities where you can walk between official boutiques of the major Swiss manufactures in a single morning. That is the point: authorized stock, after-sales, and a conversation in the house’s own salon — not a discount that evaporates when the warranty is questioned.
Boutique, not pavement
- Book. Popular references are not in the window. A guide who can call ahead in German saves a wasted visit.
- Dress as you would for any serious salon. You do not need a suit; you do need to look as if you meant to be there.
- Grey-market offers exist. The saving is real until you need a part or a stamp from the manufacture. We stay with authorized doors.
VAT for visitors
Non-resident visitors can often reclaim Swiss VAT on larger purchases, with forms stamped on exit. Rules and minimum amounts change; the boutique will issue the paperwork if the sale qualifies. We make sure that conversation happens before you pay, not at the airport with a missing stamp.
